Our 2008-2009 Seraphs
Performance Company Requirements
- Students must be enrolled in five classes per week plus their scheduled weekly rehearsal*. Two Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Technique classes are mandatory. Hip-hop and Musical Theatre are optional classes, but are strongly recommended at this level.
*Miss Amber will run weekly rehearsals. Miss Tiffany and Mr. Mike will be working with the dancers throughout the year, as well. - Performance Company must attend the yearly CCDA In-House Master Class weekend, plus one local convention.
- Choices of Conventions are:
Co. Dance - December 4th – 6th**
LADM - April 9th – 11th**
** These dates are subject to change as they are tentative from the companies. - There will be extra rehearsals for performance pieces on weekends before performances.
- Performance Company must attend CCDA Winter Show (Dates/Times TBA)
Performance Company Costs
- $175 upfront registration fee. This will cover rehearsal costs and you will receive a new CCDA Track Jacket
- $220 minimum monthly tuition
- Approximate cost of In-House Master Class weekend and one local convention is $350
- Approximate total cost for one season of Performance Company, not including minimum monthly tuition and class recital costumes will be $525
- There will be fundraiser opportunities throughout the year to help with costs. (Silent Auction, Sporting Event Performance/Ticket Sales, etc.)
- Monthly payments can be made up front for all costs.
Competition Team Requirements
- Students must be enrolled in Two Ballet, Jazz, Technique, Hip-hop, Tap, and Musical Theatre, plus their scheduled weekly rehearsal*. This will put them on “unlimited” class status.
*Miss Amber will run weekly rehearsals. Miss Tiffany and Mr. Mike will be working with the dancers throughout the year, as well. - Competition Team must attend the yearly CCDA in-house master class weekend, plus two local convention/competitions.
Conventions are:
Co. Dance - December 4th – 6th**
LADM – April 9th – 11th**
** These dates are subject to change as they are tentative from the companies. - We will also be attending one other competition that is TBD
Registration fees for this competition are approximately $35 for group, $50 for duets or trios, $80 for solos - Competition Team must attend CCDA Winter Show (Dates/Times TBA)
- There will be extra rehearsals for both performance and competition pieces on weekends before performances and competitions.
- Plan on weekend rehearsals to learn new competition material.
Competition Team Costs
- $250 upfront registration fee. This will cover rehearsal costs and you will receive a new CCDA Track Jacket
- $245 minimum monthly tuition
- Approximate cost of In-House Master Class weekend and two local conventions is $600
- Competition Choreography fees will apply for duets, trios, and solos that are chosen. These will be for teacher’s choreography time and for extra rehearsals outside of regularly scheduled weekly rehearsals. (Fees from each choreographer TBA)
- Approximate total cost for one season of Competition Team, not including minimum monthly tuition and class recital costumes will be $1500-$2000, depending on how many routines you compete in. (Solos, duo/trio, etc.)
- There will be fundraiser opportunities throughout the year to help with costs. (Silent Auction, Sporting Event Performance/Ticket Sales, etc.)
- This MUST be your primary activity!
- Monthly payments can be made up front for all costs or paid when due.

No classes March 14-21- The studio is closed for Spring Break...
OPEN ENROLLMENT HAS ENDED. Next session beings in June.
March Tuition is due on the 1st. Late fees apply on the 8th.
If your dancer has any illness that may be contagious, please stay home. Three scheduled makeups are allowed until February.
Office Hours are Mondays-Thursdays 11-2:30 and 4:30-6:30 ...No office hours Tuesday 3/9- Jill is teaching 4-8 pm...No office hours on Spring Break March 14-21...
For your convenience, we are going to email monthly statements each month (starting at the end of September for October)even if you are on automatic withdrawal.

Performance Group/Competition
LADM fees will be due by 3/1. This is a mandatory convention 4/10-4/11. . Hotel information is at www.ladancemagic.com The numbers competing are: You Should be Dancing, Filthy Gorgeous, Johnny’s Got a Boom Boom, Hollywood, Free Falling, Amanda’s solo, and Shake Senora
