Tiny Tots and Combo class programs- ages 3-8
Tiny Tots I/II is a ballet/tap program where beginning dancers ages 3-5 learn classical technique with french ballet terminology along with creative movement and tap for rhythm. The children will learn classroom etiquette in a nurturing environment. The ballet/jazz and ballet/tap combo classes for Kindergarten- 2nd graders teach basic technique and classroom etiquette. Designed for children to get experience in different classes if they arent quite yet ready or the commitment cant be made for one hour level one classes.

Beyond Technique and Ability
Other factors that Instructors pay attention to for Placement:
Classroom Etiquette and Behavior is expected at all times: Dancers will not move forward to the next level if there are any discrepancies in their behavior and classroom etiquette. Some basic rules are: No talking, no touching others, no playing with hair, no running, no hanging on barres or touching mirrors. Positive attitudes are required once through the CCDA doors. Talking about others will NOT be tolerated. Complaining in class will NOT be tolerated.
Attendance/Tardiness and Dress Code: Those who do not attend classes regularly or do not wear the proper attire, shoes, and hair will not be moved forward to the next level.
Musicality is extremely important. Level II and beyond students are required to count music and keep rhythm.
Age: Dance is not confined to age. We do try to keep the younger students together due to maturity issues but in the upper levels there may be a mixture of age between 11-18.
Amount of classes: Please note- Levels also are determined by the number of classes a dancer takes. For example: If one student takes one jazz class and another takes ballet and jazz that same year-most likely the student who took the additional class will be in a different class the following year than the friend who took the jazz class only since there was double the dance instruction.
Placement is at the Instructors discretion only- We dont accept level requests. Meetings regarding level requirements can be made by appointment only with the parent accompanied by student (must be present) and teachers (at least 2) with Jill.
