Welcome!
Our goal is to bring the love of dance to the lives of all of our students. We truly believe that there is a dancer in all of us. The art of dance benefits the young dancer for the rest of his or her life. Even the youngest dancers gain self confidence and learn to work well with others. CCDA provides the young dancer with the discipline and proper technique training through the love of dance, hard work, and dedication. We provide a nurturing and disciplined approach to dance in a professional and non competitive atmosphere.
We at Cave Creek Dance Academy are proud to have brought the art of dance to Cave Creek since 2005. In 2006, after just our first year, we expanded and added a second studio at the same location. In August 2008, we added an additional class room.
We are located at the intersection of Cave Creek and Lone Mountain (Formerly Catherine’s Center of Dance location-no affiliation).

Announcements
OPEN ENROLLMENT HAS ENDED. Next session beings in June.
February Tuition is due on the 1st. Late fees apply on the 8th.
If your dancer has any illness that may be contagious, please stay home. Three scheduled makeups are allowed until February.
Office Hours are Mondays-Thursdays 11-2:30 and 4:30-6:30
For your convenience, we are going to email monthly statements each month (starting at the end of September for October)even if you are on automatic withdrawal.

Performance Group/Competition
Phoenix Suns Performance scheduled for February 21st!
Performance Group Updates: 1/27/10
Friday, February 5th- Rehearsal 4-7 THEN Lock-in at Studio! Pizza and Costume Decorating. Pick Up before 9 am Saturday. Bring Sleeping bag and jammies, etc. Extra blankets to sleep on top of since you will be on floor are recommended…Bring a few pairs of Jeans too- One pair (that Amber chooses)will be decorated for the HAIR number. We will be getting the shirts and decorating materials with the costume deposit from October.
Monday February 15th- 10-12 Johnny’s got a Boom Boom; 12:30-2:30 Amanda
Friday, February 19th- Dress Rehearsal for Suns game 4-6. Hair must be STRAIGHTENED.
LADM fees will be due by 3/1. This is a mandatory convention 4/10-4/11. Bills will be sent home at the beginning of February. Hotel information is at www.ladancemagic.com
The numbers competing are: You Should be Dancing, Filthy Gorgeous, Johnny’s Got a Boom Boom, Hollywood, Free Falling, Amanda’s solo, and Shake Senora
Company Jackets should be available to be handed out 2/4!
Our instructors are always evaluating students now and we will contact you if a class change is in the best interest of your child. As a reminder, level requests are not accepted.
